Mr Gerard Williams is fully registered with the General Medical Council and is named on the Specialist Register. He is recognised by all the major medical insurers including BUPA. Varicose Veins Jersey puts a strong emphasis on providing realistically priced treatment packages for self funding patients treated under local anaesthetic. Our rates are, in general, a lot less than similar specialist vein clinics in the UK. We provide a written quotation that clearly states our charges prior to treatment.

Patients are advised to speak to their insurer before they embark upon the process of consultation and treatment in order to be sure that they are adequately covered. The surgeon’s fee is not based on any of the scale of charges published by the various UK-based insurance companies. It will, accurately reflect the position of the health care market in Jersey. The cost of assessment and treatment will vary according to the extent of the problem and the amount of specialist time involved.
